The workshop is a production of Z & W International, LLC. Z & W International, LLC is an international business consulting firm concentrating on transactions between the United States and China.

The workshop has been formed by a cooperative effort of Z & W International, LLC and the Photojournalism Department of the School of Journalism of Renmin University in Beijing China. Z & W International LLC has appointed two American photographer/professors to work with the faculty of the Photojournalism Department at Renmin University to develop the curriculum and conduct the workshop. The American workshop instructors are Larry M. Kushner and Joel P. DeGrand. These two instructors have many years of photographic experience and both have masters degrees in photography. The purpose of the workshop is to present the participants with the unique educational opportunity to have American and Chinese photographers working together to document pre-olympic events and preparations.

All Travel arrangements for American participants will be made by CTS Int'l USA in the Los Angeles branch office.
