The Workshop Exhibition opened at the Gallery of Bel Air Camera on August 1, 2008. A photographer's reception was on August 2, 2008. A number of workshop members were present including Michael Sugar, Michael Dorantes, Ron Fu and Larry Kushner.
The photographs displayed in the exhibition have received many compliments in just the first few days of the show. The individual prints are quite good as photographic images. However, as a group the images strongly portray life in Beijing during the Olympic preparation period. The workshop video documentary is, also, on display during the exhibition. The exhibition has some 60 prints from more than 20 photographers.
The exhibition runs from August 1 to August 30, 2008. All are welcome to view the wonderful work of these photographers.

Since returning from China a lot has been happening with the workshop photographs. Ryan Carmody, Vanessa Flores and Michael Dorantes had a very nice show of their workshop photographs during March at California State University at Northridge.
Currently there is a show of workshop photographs in the Chicago area at the Lubeznik Art Center, April 26th to July 6th.
We are now in the planning stage for a major show for the month of August. The show will be at the Gallery of Bel Air Camera in the Westwood Village district of Los Angeles. This will be a large show in a prime location. All workshop members are encouraged to submit additional photographs for the show that may not have been available for their original submission.
